At Infinium Solar Roofing and Electric Roofing and Electric, we’ve always believed that great outcomes come from working with the right people. That belief was reinforced recently when we welcomed members of the FranklinWH team, including CEO Gary Lam and Regional Sales Manager David Larson, to our Campbell headquarters for a collaborative visit focused on supporting homeowners with safe, reliable energy storage.
The visit was a thoughtful exchange between teams, one rooted in shared values around quality, safety, and helping families take control of their energy future. And while we’ve worked closely with FranklinWH for some time now, meeting in person, walking through our facility together, and sharing ideas face-to-face added a new level of connection and mutual understanding.
A Walk Through Our Warehouse and Our Approach
During the tour, our guests got a close look at how Infinium prepares for each installation. From the carefully managed inventory of FranklinWH batteries to the way our crews stage and prep equipment, it was a chance to show what attention to detail looks like behind the scenes.
CEO Jeff Long and Director of Operations Gwen Nguyen, guided the FranklinWH team through our operations. We discussed not just logistics and tools, but the people behind the installs, our in-house battery team that takes pride in every project, from conduit runs to code compliance. The FranklinWH team shared helpful feedback and insight, and the overall tone of the visit felt more like a conversation between colleagues than anything else.
A Productive Conversation About What’s Next

Following the tour, we sat down in our conference room to dive deeper into planning and long-term goals. Jeff Long, Gary Lam, and David Larson, along with a few of our team leads, had a thoughtful discussion on everything from market shifts to how we can continue to deliver better outcomes for homeowners.
What stood out in this conversation wasn’t just the technical talk, though there was plenty of that, but the sense that both companies care about doing things the right way. Whether that’s installing to the highest safety standards, making backup power more accessible, or staying ahead of tariffs and supply issues, the focus remained on homeowners and doing what’s best for them.
Battery Installations, Done Right
At Infinium, we handle battery installations with the same care and thought we bring to roofing and solar, because when a system is done right, it works better and lasts longer. We’ve built a battery division within our company that’s not only technically strong but also trained to think about aesthetics, long-term performance, and ease of use.
• All installations are done in-house, with no subcontractors.
• Panel work, conduit, and layout are designed to be clean, code-compliant, and efficient.
• Systems are built to support future add-ons like EV chargers or additional solar panels.
• We handle all permitting and inspections, keeping the process stress-free for homeowners.
These are just a few of the reasons we’ve been drawn to working with FranklinWH. Their battery systems are flexible, scalable, and backed by solid engineering, all things that make for a smoother installation and a better result for the customer.
Planning Ahead in a Challenging Market
Like everyone in the industry, we’ve felt the effects of tariffs and supply chain slowdowns, longer lead times, rising costs, and uncertainty around product availability. One of the things we appreciated most about FranklinWH’s visit was their openness about these challenges and how they're navigating them.
We discussed inventory planning, sourcing strategies, and how both teams can stay ready to serve customers even when market conditions are unpredictable. Having clear communication and a shared focus on preparation allows us to continue installing systems on time and without compromise. It’s not about having all the answers, it’s about being responsive and adaptable, together.
Looking Ahead
We’re grateful for the time spent with the FranklinWH team, especially Gary Lam and David Larson, and for the chance to strengthen our working relationship in person. For homeowners considering battery backup, the takeaway is simple: we care about how your system is installed, who installs it, and what it will mean for your home five or ten years from now.
While we don’t overstate partnerships, we do appreciate when they’re built on shared goals and day-to-day collaboration. FranklinWH continues to be a key part of how we deliver long-term energy solutions to California homeowners, and we’re proud to work with a product that reflects the same values we bring to every job.
If you’re thinking about adding a battery to your home or simply want to learn more, we’re always happy to help.
